WHY WE STARTED NEXT STEP GUYANA

Next Step Guyana was born out of a simple yet practical belief that no student in Guyana should have to figure out their future alone. Preparing for CSEC and CAPE can be challenging and knowing what to do after leaves many students with big questions and very little guidance. What should I study? Where can I apply? How do I even begin? This is why Next Step Guyana was founded by Joshua Gulab and Aniyah Couchman, Guyanese students and CAPE Top Performers who remember that feeling all too well from the uncertainties and pressures to the quiet hope that someone, anywhere would help make things clearer.

Today, Next Step Guyana is growing a network to become Guyana's first comprehensive network of mentors who've walked your road before. Our platform includes students, top performers, scholarship winners and young professionals who know what it's like to be in your shoes. We offer free mentorship sessions, live Q&A sessions and access to honest advice and resources, all designed to help you take your next step with confidence. In our hearts, this isn't just a platform, it's a community built on care, understanding and a belief that your future matters.
